8 fl. oz. mug, stoneware clay, the color expressed is only dinnerware safe glazes.
“Triumph” (8 fl. oz. mug) is an earlier of my pieces. It was my first attempt at a metallic glaze…or at least the first attempt that worked out! This piece tricks the eye easily. People always think that it is made of metal, but flip it over to reveal the color of the clay on the bottom!
The inspiration for this mug is that every part of a piece can be used to express emotion and depth. The handle expressed my desire to have fun and experiment.
